ID and passport photos in Athens
I take photos for Greek ID cards, Greek passports, and other official documents, in line with the requirements that apply in each case.
The session takes place in my studio, in a quiet, naturally lit space near Acropolis metro station, in Athens. Appointments are scheduled in advance, at specific times of day, so there is suitable natural light for the photograph. Each appointment is held individually, so the process is guided and not rushed.
During the session, we take a small series of images and then review them together, so you can choose the one that feels right to you. You choose the image before any editing is done. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do. I guide you through the process so the result looks natural and meets the required specifications.
Editing stays within the limits allowed for official documents. I can remove temporary marks or uneven shadows, but I do not alter permanent features. If you are looking for an image with a more editorial approach, this can be done in a separate portrait session, but it would not be suitable for official document use.
The photos are delivered in digital form. For services that use the myPhoto platform, I upload the photo and, where required, your signature to myPhoto. You will then receive a code by email or on your phone. Using your Taxisnet credentials, you log in to myPhoto to link the files to your tax number. You then authorise the relevant public service to retrieve them. You do not need to upload any files yourself.
If you need a photo for a document issued by a country other than Greece, please mention the country, document type, and exact photo requirements before booking. I review these requests case by case and will let you know whether I can take them on.
Your digital files are usually ready within about 48 hours. If you already have an appointment with a public service, embassy, or consulate, I recommend scheduling your session 3 to 4 days in advance, so everything can be completed without time pressure.
Please note that this is not a same-day photo booth service. If you need a photo urgently, please mention your deadline before booking, so I can let you know whether it is possible.
The fee is €50, VAT included. This includes the session, editing, and digital delivery. If your request requires printed photos, additional formats, or special preparation, I will let you know whether this is possible and whether there is any additional fee before confirming the appointment.
